I wonder if it is too soon for a reboot. I can still picture Tobey Maguire as Spiderman. No knock on Andrew Garfield, who's amassing quite an impressive resume. Yet some of the shots in the trailer are awfully similar to the first Spiderman where Peter Parker learned to crawl up a wall, spidey style, and leaps across building with unabandoned joy. I'm not saying I won't see this film, in fact, it's pretty much releasing on my birthday next year. This will be my default film to watch. It feels too soon but let's all reserve judgement until the film releases.
